According to WTO’s International Trade Statistics, the value of Iran’s exports of agricultural products in 1990 was $601 million. This value increased to $932 million in 2000, $2911 million in 2006, $3512 million in 2007 and finally $3577 million in 2008. Accordingly, the share of agricultural products exports in 2000 and 2008 were both 3.2% of Iran’s total value of exports.
