According to WTO’s International Trade Statistics, the value of Iran’s exports of manufactured products in 1990 was $0.69 billion. This value increased to $1.98 billion in 2000, $6.07 billion in 2006, $7.44 billion in 2007 and finally $11.23 billion in 2008. Accordingly, the share of manufactured products exports in 2000 was 6.9% and in 2008 9.9% of Iran’s total value of exports.
