According to WTO’s International Trade Statistics, the value of Iran’s integrated circuits and electronic components imports in 2000 was $120 million. This amount increased to $270 million in 2006, $179 million in 2007 and finally $217 million in 2008. Accordingly, the share of integrated circuits and electronic components imports in Iran’s total value of imports was 0.9% in 2000 and 0.4% in 2008.
